Interest Rate

We are looking at interest rate, it is said that countries that have high
interest rate should see their currencies appreciate in value while,
while countries with low interest rate should see their currencies
depreciate in value.
This future exchange rate is reflected into the forward exchange
rate of the British Pound is said to be at discount because it buys
fewer Canadian Dollars in the forward rate than it does in the spot
rate . The Canadain Dollar is said to be at premium.
In the US the FOMC usually meet periodically to setup interest
rate.
